Juventude Vidigalense is a club from Leiria, founded in 1992, dedicated exclusively to athletics whose activity has greatly contributed to the implementation and promotion of sports in the district, especially among the younger generation. Being the club in Portugal with more athletes (around 300 per season), Juventude Vidigalense has been training athletes who have been called to represent the national team since 1993 (thirty-two athletes, to be precise), amongst whom VĂ¢nia Silva, who twice competed in the biggest sporting event on earth, the OLYMPICS!
